These earrings, part of my current 'Femme Futball Nile-Nur' series are individually collaged-paper and hand painted with no two pairs alike making for a unique and stunning purchase. This series combines found contemporary and historical female imagery from recent Middle Eastern travels with modern soccer and news propaganda materials. This series speaks to beauty, stereotyping, and the creation of spaces and places within which women exist.
